31 Days of Mango Questions
I’m starting to get ramped up for another “31 Days of Windows Phone” series, focusing on all of the new goodness in the Mango release that is coming out this fall. I received a TON of positive feedback from the first series, and want to make this one even awesomer.
So…
What did you like?
What didn’t you like?
Were the demos sufficient?
Would you prefer this content released as a complete PDF?
Should there be more pictures?
Would you prefer this be a video series vs. an article series?

Article > video, unless you’re gonna transcribe your videos.
Once the series is done, I’d love to see it all packaged up in a single PDF.
Other than that, the last series was great.

You did almost nothing wrong with the 31 day series! I guess compiling at least the text into an eBook would be cool. Personally, still prefer articles over video (easier to lookup etc.). Best of luck & looking forward!

The first series was perfect. Exactly the same but updated for Mango would be great. I’m a big fan of learning through video, but the articles alone would be enough. I’m looking forward to it!

I agree with Mike that if you do a video, you gotta do transcripts. And a PDF at the end would be awesome!
I’ve liked how you’ve broken up the steps and included screenshots to help make sense of things. I also like that you include the projects for the articles.

Yeah, agree with the above posters, video need transcripts, as I can’t scan through a video easily.

I think I agree with most of the commenters…video is more work for less impact. I’ll stick with article formats, for sure.

First series was great, help me a lot.
ebook will be great, video not so much…
