Hi,

Thanks for the tutorial. I’ve got the searching working – but the search suggestions won’t work. The code won’t compile it says SearchResults() must have a return type – if I modify the method to public void SearchResults() then I get “Delegate to an instance method cannot have null ‘this’.”

Any suggestions?

You seem to have skipped the bit on creating searchString, it might confuse a novice reader as to where you are getting that from.

Thanks for this series of articles; the image with the buttons for the bottom app bar is a great idea, but they are too puny to see (at least for this old cat); I saved the .png and opened it in IrfanView and kept enlarging it until the button images were large enough, but then they were too blurry.

Somebody should put together a hi-res book (PDF file?) that contains all of the styles contained in the common subfolder – the look of each TextBlock style, Button style, etc.
