Drop It Like It's Jott.
Friday, June 15, 2007
So I don't generally pimp online services...oh wait. Maybe that's all I do.
Anyways, I stumbled upon a new service today called Jott.
Basically, it allows you to call an 800 number, leave a message, and have it sent to your inbox, or someone else's inbox. Not only does it send the audio message itself, but it transcribes it, and makes that the body of the email.
You have to have contacts and junk set up on their site, so you can't send a message to someone you haven't already set up (or at least I don't think so). I think if I'm gonna make a phone call, I'd rather just call the person.
But for sending myself reminders when I'm walking through a store, or in my car, this seems like a great idea!

Ugh. Safari on Windows.

To quote a colleague of mine:
And here's one of mine:
If I'm not careful, I'm gonna have to start respecting this new momentum Apple is generating. I'm talking bad about the iPhone, but let's be honest...I wanna play with one too.
Great. Now they can be the third best browser on Windows.
And here's one of mine:
Men who live in houses of Windows should not throw Apples.

Moving Day
Monday, June 11, 2007
So today we moved yet again at my office. My third "move" in 2 years.
I finally got to the bottom of my moving box, which has been sitting around, near, or under each desk I've had since I started here. It's amazing what you can accumulate.
I found:
18 Post-It Notes pads
47 pens (btw, I can never find a pen at my desk.)
34 unlabeled, but burned CDs
1 set of Homestar Runner figurines
4 USB cables
2 decks of cards
7 newish pads of paper (another thing I never have)
3 sets of headphones
3 computer mice
the 2006 Indians schedule magnet
the 2007 Indians schedule magnet

Mix '08...won't it be great?
Friday, June 01, 2007
They've already announced the dates for the Mix '08 conference. I'm really hoping to get an opportunity to go again. I'm still revelling in the knowledge and experience of the trip.
March 5-7, 2008. Venetial Hotel. Be there or be less than desirable.
